important的用法

1.词类:形容词(adj.)

2.含义:重要的，重大的；

大量的，许多的；

有权力的；

自高自大的

3.用法:

1)作表语

The Chinese Dream is distinctly important to Chinese people.

中国梦对中国人极为重要。

It's important for you to learn English well.

学好英语对你很重要。

Xiao Li looks important.

小李看起来了不起。

2)作定语

He spent an important part of his time on learning English words by heart.

他花大量的时间背英语单词。

Her stepfather is an important person.

她的继爹是个要人。

The Xi'an Incident is an important event in history.

西安事变是历史上重大事件。

♥注意:

a) important 修饰不定代词时，须位于不定代词之后，作后置定语。

如:They have something important to say.

他们有重要的事情要说。

b)在" It's important that…"这个句型中，从句的谓语如果表示事实的状态则用陈述语序，表示将来的状态则用虚拟语气即should+动词原形，should可以省略掉。

如:It's important that he has come.

重要的是他已经来了。

It's important that he (should) come.

他应该来,这一点很重要。

c) important 的名词形式是importance。

如: Realizing the Chinese Dream is of great importance to the Chinese people.

实现中国梦对中国人民来说极为重要。
